First Oct. Post

So it's been a while since I created my blog and even since I posted anything on it. So here I go. I would love to say that things are going well, but they aren't quite as good as I'd like. Heather asked me last night how school was going. (For those of you who don't know, I've enrolled for online classes at Weber State University.) I had fallen behind in my work, somewhat suprising to me, having recieved a lot more hours at work since one of the girls quit. I'm not sure how my History class is going, although I've currently failing that class. I'm somewhat more optimistic about my Art history class, but still somewhat nervous about the grade I'm going to recieve.
Next is the Syracuse City Pumpkin Walk coming up. Although I'm excited for this event, I'm struggeling to come up with ideas for my pumpkins this year. The last few years I've had a sepcific theme that I was going to work on. This year, I'm wandering without a theme. I do have several pumpkins ready for Phineas and Ferb, one of my favourite cartoons. And I've been asked to help with a Star Wars scene, but I'm still struggeling this year.
I cannot complain about my lot, I have a lot of exciting things happening soon.

Work

So, it's definately interesting working near my old neighbourhood. It's been interesting and fun seeing people I know or the folks that I grew up with who come inito the store and who I get to chat with. I often see my parents, who generally come and say 'hi' to me. I also have seen many of the people from their neighbourhood, who have come to realize that I work there. It's funny to see the reaction of people when they realize that it's me working. Fisrt appears shock, then they smile and start talking to me about how long I've worked there and how things are going. It's really pretty cool, and a lot of fun.

Blog Begining

So I created this blog because I'm feeling a bit censored by the blog that Heather and I are working on because it's intended for potential birth mothers and it has to be somewhat vague as to not give too much info. The condition that this blog will continue is that I keep updating the other blog as well. The irony of that condition is that I've done the last couple of posts on our other blog. Heather wants me to keep that one up, but she isn't doing too much either! It makes me smile a lot. I do plan on continuing that other blog, but I like to think that this one will be some place I can link to the other family blogs I know of and some place to share some of my real thoughts, without giving away too much information.
